Required Qualification

BE Electronics / Mechatronics/Instrumentation from a reputed Institution/University

Experience

4 – 8 years

Technical knowledge/Skills

OT–IT integration: practical depth in PLC and machine data extraction, OPC-UA or MQTT, edge gateways, historians and integration to MES and ERP.

MES or IIoT delivery: Taken at least 1 platform implementation through to live use & sustained adoption

SCADA / HMI and historians (WinCC, Ignition, FactoryTalk, Wonderware, OSIsoft PI or equivalent)

Key Responsibilities

Install and commission sensors, gateways, PLC and HMI changes with vendors

Validate machine data and maintain dashboards for plant teams

Support pilot projects from trials through to stabilisation

Maintain documentation,



program backups and change records

Train plant operators and maintenance teams on current systems

Implement and support automation and IIoT solutions on the shop floor across plants

Additional Requirements

Experience in manufacturing operations / industrial automation / smart factory

Comfortable on shop floor

Multi-plant delivery: should have rolled out digital solution across several plants, not just one site.

Should have worked with Plant heads and their teams to drive adoption, training and sustained use of every solution deployed
