Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Service Now ITAM/ITOM Platform Architect with strong expertise in Service Now IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), platform architecture, and enterprise Service Now solutions.

The ideal candidate should have experience designing scalable Service Now solutions, integrating ITAM and ITOM capabilities, and guiding technical implementations across enterprise environments.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, and technical teams to design, implement, and optimize Service Now platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and architect Service Now ITAM and ITOM solutions based on business and technical requirements.

- Define platform architecture, technical design, and implementation approaches for Service Now ITAM/ITOM modules.

- Guide the configuration and implementation of IT Asset Management and IT Operations Management capabilities.

- Design and optimize Configuration Management Database (CMDB) structures and related processes.

- Support Service Now Discovery, infrastructure visibility, and configuration management capabilities.

- Provide architectural guidance for hardware and software asset management integrations.

- Define integrations between Service Now and enterprise infrastructure, monitoring, and asset management systems.





- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand IT operations and asset lifecycle requirements.

- Translate functional requirements into scalable Service Now platform solutions.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to Service Now developers and implementation teams.

- Review technical designs and ensure alignment with Service Now architecture and development best practices.

- Troubleshoot complex technical, integration, and configuration issues.

- Support testing, deployment, platform enhancements, and post-implementation activities.

- Maintain solution architecture documents, technical specifications, and implementation records.

- Identify opportunities for platform optimization, workflow automation, and operational improvement.

Requirements Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of total qualified experience, including 3+ years of relevant experience in Service Now ITAM/ITOM.

- Strong expertise in Service Now platform architecture, solution design, and implementation.

- Hands-on experience with Service Now IT Asset Management (ITAM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM).

- Understanding of IT asset lifecycle management and IT operations processes.





- Experience designing and implementing Service Now ITAM/ITOM solutions.

- Knowledge of Service Now Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and related data management practices.

- Experience with Service Now Discovery and infrastructure configuration management.

- Understanding of Service Now integrations with external enterprise applications.

- Ability to design scalable technical solutions and integration architectures.

- Experience translating business requirements into solution designs and technical specifications.

- Ability to guide development teams and review technical implementation approaches.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Service Now Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM).

- Knowledge of Service Now Service Mapping and Event Management.

- Familiarity with Service Now Integration Hub, MID Server, and REST APIs.

- Understanding of CMDB governance and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).

- Experience with workflow automation and Service Now Flow Designer.

- Exposure to large-scale Service Now platform implementations.

- Knowledge of ITIL processes and IT service management principles.

Additional Requirements

- Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement with 2 days per week in the office.
