Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Shift Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our café/ice cream store during their designated shifts. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining operational efficiency, and supporting the store manager in achieving business goals. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Management & Leadership:
- Supervise and lead the team during your shift, ensuring high performance and smooth operations.
- Delegate tasks efficiently, ensuring all areas of the store are covered.
- Provide coaching, support, and feedback to team members to help them develop their skills.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure that customers receive exceptional service by training staff on best practices for customer interaction.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and overall atmosphere of the store to create a welcoming setting for customers.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee the store’s operations during your shift, including stock management, equipment use, and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and ensuring proper stock rotation (FIFO).
- Handle cash transactions, ensure POS systems are operating smoothly, and assist with daily cash reconciliation.
- Health, Safety & Hygiene:
- Ensure all safety and food hygiene protocols are being followed during your shift.
- Monitor the store for cleanliness and make sure all team members adhere to hygiene and sanitation guidelines.
- Sales & Financial Management:




- Monitor sales during your shift and work to achieve sales targets.
- Implement any store promotions and communicate new product offerings to customers and staff.
- Track and report on shift performance, including sales and customer feedback.
- Training & Development:
- Assist in training new staff and provide ongoing development to existing team members.
- Ensure all team members are properly trained in their roles and store policies.
- Shift Operations:
- Oversee opening and closing duties, ensuring all store procedures are followed.
- Make sure stock is replenished as necessary and that the store is properly set up and closed down each day.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in a fast-paced café, restaurant, or retail environment.
- Proven experience in team management, customer service, and operational efficiency.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling.
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive attitude and the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality and service.

Educational Qualifications:

- Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent (Degree in Hospitality or Business preferred).

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
