About the Role

Drizzle is looking for a proactive, target-oriented, and confident Telecaller with experience in driver hiring or blue-collar recruitment. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills in Bengali and Hindi and the ability to source, screen, and onboard drivers efficiently.

The candidate will be responsible for connecting with potential drivers, managing recruitment calls, maintaining candidate records, and coordinating with the operations team to ensure timely fulfilment of hiring requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound calls to potential candidates for driver hiring and other blue-collar recruitment requirements.
- Source and engage drivers through databases, referrals, job portals, and other relevant channels.
- Screen candidates based on experience, availability, location, driving credentials, and job requirements.
- Explain job responsibilities, salary structure, working conditions, and joining procedures to candidates.
- Follow up with shortlisted candidates to ensure successful joining and onboarding.
- Maintain an updated database of candidates, calling records, follow-ups, and recruitment status.
- Coordinate with the operations and hiring teams to understand driver requirements and fulfil vacancies within deadlines.
- Manage daily calling targets and recruitment pipelines to achieve hiring goals.
- Handle candidate queries professionally and maintain a positive candidate experience.
- Prepare daily and weekly recruitment reports, including calls made, candidates shortlisted, and successful joinings.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2–3 years of experience in telecalling, recruitment, or candidate sourcing.
- Prior experience in driver hiring, blue-collar recruitment, fleet staffing, or manpower recruitment is highly preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills in Bengali and Hindi.
- Good interpersonal, convincing, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple candidates and follow-ups simultaneously.
- Target-oriented approach with a focus on successful candidate conversion and joining.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, or recruitment tracking tools.
- Strong coordination, time-management, and record-maintenance skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is confident on calls, persistent with follow-ups, and capable of managing the complete calling and coordination process for driver hiring. Candidates with a proven track record in blue-collar recruitment and the ability to meet hiring targets will be given preference.
