Role Overview

Coastal Elango Institute of Hotel Management is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and committed Principal / Academic Director to lead the institution's academic operations, faculty development, student success, and overall institutional growth. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in the education sector, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to maintain high academic standards in hospitality and hotel management education.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee the institution's academic and administrative operations.
- Develop and implement academic strategies, curricula, and institutional policies.
- Recruit, guide, and supervise faculty members and administrative staff.
- Ensure effective delivery of hotel management and hospitality-related courses.
- Monitor teaching quality, student performance, attendance, and discipline.
- Establish industry partnerships with hotels, resorts, and hospitality organizations.
- Coordinate internships, industrial training, placement activities, and career development programs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable educational regulations, affiliation requirements, and academic standards.
- Plan faculty development programs, workshops, seminars, and industry-oriented training.
- Manage institutional budgets, academic calendars, examinations,



and documentation.
- Promote student admissions, institutional branding, and overall growth.
- Maintain a professional learning environment focused on discipline, practical skills, and employability.
- Submit periodic academic and operational reports to the management.

Eligibility & Requirements

- Minimum 10 years of experience in the educational domain.
- Relevant educational qualifications in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in academic administration, institutional leadership, or faculty management will be preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of academic administration, curriculum planning, and educational compliance.
- Ability to develop industry connections and improve student placement opportunities.
