1. Job Responsibilities – Purchase

- Handle daily purchase activities and procurement of raw materials, consumables, tools, and spare parts.
- Collect quotations from suppliers and compare prices, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and obtain necessary approvals.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding material delivery and pending orders.
- Maintain supplier records, purchase registers, and purchase documentation.
- Follow up on urgent materials required for production.
- Verify invoices and coordinate with the Accounts Department for payment processing.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and maintain good supplier relationships.

2. Job Responsibilities – Stores

- Receive incoming materials and verify quantity, quality, and specifications against Purchase Orders and delivery documents.
- Maintain accurate stock records and update stock registers / ERP / Excel.
- Issue raw materials, consumables, and tools to production based on authorized requests.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requests for low-stock materials.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile stock differences.
- Maintain proper material identification, storage,



and housekeeping.
- Track scrap, rejected materials, returns, and material movements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
- Ensure proper documentation for material receipt, issue, and transfer.

3. Required Skills

- Knowledge of purchase and inventory management.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and email.
- Knowledge of stock registers, GRN, Purchase Orders, and invoices.
- Experience with ERP / inventory software is an advantage.
- Positive coordination with production, accounts, and suppliers.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

4. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Timely procurement of materials.
- Accuracy of inventory and stock records.
- Reduction in unnecessary purchase costs.
- Minimum stock discrepancies.
- Timely material availability for production.
- Proper maintenance of purchase and store documentation.

5. Reporting To

Purchase Manager / Stores Manager / Management

6. Personal Requirements

- Responsible and disciplined.
- Honest and trustworthy in handling materials and stock.
- Able to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Palladam, Tamil Nadu 641605: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
