The Warranty In-Charge is responsible for managing warranty claims, ensuring accurate documentation, coordinating with the manufacturer, and processing claims within the prescribed timelines. The role involves verifying warranty eligibility, monitoring claim status, and ensuring compliance with company and manufacturer warranty policies.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle warranty claims for vehicles, spare parts, and service repairs.

* Verify vehicle warranty eligibility and ensure claims comply with manufacturer guidelines.

* Prepare, submit, and follow up on warranty claims within the specified timelines.

* Coordinate with service advisors, technicians, parts department, and manufacturer warranty teams.

* Verify job cards, repair orders, invoices, photographs, and other supporting documents before claim submission.

* Ensure proper documentation and maintain warranty records for audit purposes.

* Monitor pending, rejected, and approved claims and take corrective action where required.

* Coordinate warranty part storage, tagging, and return procedures as per manufacturer guidelines.

* Investigate claim rejections and arrange resubmission or clarification wherever applicable.





* Ensure compliance with dealership standards and manufacturer warranty policies.

* Prepare periodic warranty reports and update management on claim status and outstanding issues.

* Train and guide service personnel on warranty procedures and documentation requirements.

Required Qualifications

* Diploma or ITI in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering; relevant experience may also be considered.

* Experience in an automobile dealership or service centre, preferably in warranty administration.

* Knowledge of vehicle warranty policies, claim processing, and manufacturer procedures.

* Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office and dealership management systems.

* Valuable communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
