Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Efficiently and effectively manage all IPD Billing activities, including patient registration and billing, to ensure a smooth workflow.

Prepare, verify, and maintain records of all IPD bills in line with established protocols.

Stay updated with all payer plans, policies, and codes for different corporate companies and TPAs.

Review, update, and monitor payer plans and tariff codes in the Hospital Information System (HIS) to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Maintain complete records of all correspondence related to IPD billing patients for error free billing.

Identify and resolve patient billing complaints promptly; escalate issues to concerned authorities when necessary.

Ensure accurate and timely submission of all daily and monthly billing reports.

Strive to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction during every patient interaction.





Maintain department records in compliance with NABH requirements.

Ensure effective utilization of the Hospital Information System (HIS) for all billing processes.

Demonstrate familiarity with all relevant instructional manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and NABH protocols.

Participate in training programs to continuously upgrade qualified knowledge and skills.

Perform any other tasks assigned by the HOD from time to time.
