Profile: Machine Planning Executive

Experience:

- 3 to 6 years in machine or production planning in a textile or weaving unit
- Hands-on experience with water jet looms is a must
- Experience tracking production and preparing production reports and bills

Roles:

- Plan machine-wise and shift-wise production for all water jet machines.
- Allocate orders, designs and qualities to machines based on capacity, yarn and beam availability.
- Track daily production and check actual output against targets.
- Calculate and report machine efficiency, shortage, wastage and downtime.
- Coordinate with the production, maintenance and warp/beam sections to keep machine idle time low.
- Plan machine changeovers, beam loading and quality changes with minimal loss.
- Prepare production, job work and weaving bills,



and verify meters or quantities produced.
- Maintain accurate records of production, yarn consumption and fabric dispatch.
- Coordinate with the stores, dispatch and accounts teams on yarn, beam and fabric movement.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production and planning reports for management.
- Flag delays, bottlenecks and breakdowns early and suggest corrective action.

Qualification:

- Diploma or degree in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering or a related field (preferred)
- Graduate in any stream with relevant weaving experience can also be considered
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer skills
