About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Site Engineer – Civil to supervise construction activities at our project site in Surat. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, quality control, coordination, documentation, and ensuring work is completed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities at site.
- Execute RCC, masonry, plaster, flooring, finishing and other civil works as per approved drawings.
- Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Ensure construction work is carried out as per drawings, specifications and approved methodology.
- Check reinforcement, shuttering, concrete pouring and other critical activities before execution.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors and project teams.
- Monitor manpower, material utilization and work productivity.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure required testing is completed.
- Maintain Daily Activity Reports (DAR), site records, checklists, inspection reports and work progress reports.
- Verify site measurements and assist in quantity and billing verification.
- Monitor project progress against planned schedules and highlight delays/issues.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with site safety requirements.
- Identify technical/site issues and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings, instructions, approvals and site communications.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering




- 3–4 years of relevant experience in building/construction projects.
- Experience in residential, commercial, hospitality or similar building projects will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of civil construction and site execution.
- Good understanding of drawings, BOQ and construction specifications.
- Knowledge of RCC, reinforcement, shuttering and finishing works.
- Basic knowledge of quantity measurement and billing.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Ability to manage site activities and work under project deadlines.
- Strong attention to quality, safety and documentation.
