Batra Heart & Multispeciality Hospital invites applications from experienced, competent, and dedicated nursing professionals for the position of ICU Incharge to lead our Intensive Care Unit and ensure high standards of patient care, clinical excellence, and patient safety.

Position: ICU Incharge

Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing / GNM
Experience: Minimum 4–5 years of relevant ICU experience, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
Location: Faridabad, Haryana
Employment Type: Full time

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise ICU nursing staff, ensuring efficient shift management, duty rosters and adequate staffing.
- Ensure high-quality nursing care for critically ill patients, including ventilator care, hemodynamic monitoring and emergency management.
- Monitor patient assessment, nursing documentation, medication administration and timely implementation of medical orders.
- Ensure strict compliance with infection prevention and control practices, hand hygiene, biomedical waste management and patient safety protocols.
- Coordinate with intensivists, consultants, RMO/JR doctors and other clinical departments for effective patient management.
- Monitor nursing procedures, clinical indicators, incident reporting and corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, SOPs, and NABH standards applicable to ICU services.
- Conduct staff training, competency assessments,



clinical audits and performance monitoring.
- Maintain ICU equipment readiness, emergency trolley checks, crash cart availability and essential inventory.
- Ensure proper handover, patient identification, medication safety and timely escalation of clinical deterioration.
- Maintain accurate records and support quality improvement initiatives and accreditation requirements.

Candidate Requirements

- Strong clinical expertise in critical care nursing and ICU operations.
- Proven leadership, team management and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of ventilator management, emergency protocols and critical care monitoring.
- Good communication, documentation and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with NABH standards, patient safety and infection control practices.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and manage a dynamic critical care environment.
