We aree looking or a very valuable experienced mother teacher for grade one for one of client schools in Attapur, Hyderabad.

Job Summary

A Grade 1 Mother Teacher acts as a primary caregiver, mentor, and educator who guides young children through their foundational school year by combining academic instruction with a nurturing, home-like environment.

Role Overview

- Primary Goal: Provide a safe, warm, and engaging classroom that supports early academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Core Function: Act as the single primary point of contact and teacher for Grade 1 students, handling multiple core subjects rather than rotating specialized teachers.

Key Responsibilities

- Academic Instruction:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons in core subjects like English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies (EVS), and Value Education.
- Build foundational skills in early literacy, numeracy, handwriting, and oral communication.
- Use activity-based learning, teaching aids, manipulatives, and visual/digital tools.
- Nurturing & Caregiving:
- Ease the transition of young children from home/kindergarten into formal primary schooling.
- Monitor personal hygiene, snack/lunch times, emotional well-being, and classroom safety.
- Respond with patience and empathy to student anxieties or behavioral challenges.
- Classroom Management & Discipline:
- Establish clear, gentle routines, classroom rules, and positive behavior reinforcement.
- Ensure smooth student movement during assemblies, breaks, and dispersal.
- Assessment & Progress Tracking:
- Conduct continuous and formative evaluations through classwork, oral checks, and observations.




- Identify early learning gaps and provide remedial support.
- Maintain student records, portfolios, and daily/weekly lesson plans.
- Parent Communication:
- Maintain regular, open communication with parents regarding a child's academic, social, and emotional progress.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings (PTMs) and address parental concerns constructively.

Required Qualifications & Education

- Education: Graduation in any discipline plus a teaching degree/diploma (B.Ed., D.Ed., or D.El.Ed.) with a focus on early childhood or primary education.
- Certifications: CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) qualification is often preferred by CBSE/ICSE schools.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of prior experience working as a primary or mother teacher in a recognized school.
