Job Summary

We are looking for a proficient and enthusiastic German Language Teacher to teach students German language skills through interactive, engaging, and activity-based learning. The candidate should have strong German communication skills and the ability to develop students' reading, writing, listening, speaking, and cultural understanding.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach German language and grammar according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Develop students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Plan engaging lessons using interactive activities, worksheets, presentations, and digital tools.
- Conduct assessments, assignments, oral tests, and examinations.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and student progress reports.
- Introduce students to German culture, traditions, and everyday communication.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active student participation.
- Integrate technology and AI tools to enhance language learning.
- Coordinate with the academic team and participate in school activities and meetings.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in German Language, German Studies, or an equivalent relevant qualification.




- Recognized German-language proficiency certification, preferably B2 level or above; C1 preferred.
- B.Ed. or relevant teaching qualification preferred, subject to applicable school recruitment requirements.
- Goethe-Institut certification or equivalent recognized qualification will be an advantage.

- Excellent German language proficiency and communication skills.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Strong classroom management and lesson-planning skills.
- Ability to teach through experiential, activity-based, and student-centred methods.
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools and educational technology.
- Approachable personality, qualified etiquette, and a positive attitude.

Experience

- Prior German language teaching experience in a school or educational institution is preferred.
- Freshers with strong German proficiency and relevant qualifications may also apply.
