Microsoft 365 Engineer – L1

Role Overview

The Microsoft 365 Engineer – L1 will provide first-level support for enterprise users and manage

routine Microsoft 365, Active Directory and endpoint-related BAU activities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Level 1 support for:

Exchange Online

Microsoft Teams

SharePoint Online

OneDrive

Microsoft 365 Apps

Windows endpoints

Perform user administration activities, including:

User account creation, modification and disabling

Password resets

License assignment

Mailbox requests

Security group membership

Perform basic Active Directory user and group administration.

Perform basic Group Policy checks and troubleshoot common user profile issues.

Support user onboarding and offboarding activities.

Handle access requests and routine BAU operational activities.

Log, update, resolve and close service desk tickets within defined SLAs.

Keep users informed about ticket status and resolution progress.





Perform initial troubleshooting and diagnosis of common Microsoft 365 and endpoint issues.

Escalate unresolved or complex incidents to L2/L3 teams with appropriate troubleshooting

details.

Knowledge articles

Shift handover documents

Ticket documentation

Operational records

Required Skills

Basic working knowledge of Microsoft 365 services.

Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.

Understanding of Windows endpoint troubleshooting.

Good ticket management and incident-handling skills.

Good communication and customer-service skills.

Ability to work in a shift-based 24x7 support workplace after deployment.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
