*A. Surveillance & Reporting:*

- Daily surveillance of HAI - VAP, CLABSI, CAUTI, SSI in ICU, CCU, CTVS, Emergency

- Maintain HAI data, infection rates, and prepare monthly reports

- Report needle stick injuries and take post-exposure action

- Track antimicrobial resistance data with microbiology lab

*B. Infection Control Practices:*

- Daily rounds in ICU, CCU, CTVS, OT, Emergency to check infection control compliance

- Ensure Hand Hygiene audits, bundle care compliance

- Monitor Biomedical Waste Management (BMW) as per 2016 rules

- Check OT fumigation, sterilization (CSSD), disinfection protocols

- Ensure isolation protocols for infected patients

*C. Training & Education:*

- Train all staff nurses, housekeeping, technicians on Hand Hygiene, PPE, BMW, Needle stick prevention

- Conduct induction training for recent joinees





- Conduct monthly infection control committee meetings documentation

*D. NABH & Documentation:*

- Maintain all ICN registers, checklists, audit sheets for NABH

- Assist in NABH audits and assessments

- Update Infection Control Manual, antibiotic policy

3. Qualification:

- http://B.Sc Nursing / http://M.Sc Nursing + Certificate in Infection Control (preferred)

- 1-2 years experience as ICN in NABH accredited hospital mandatory

- Must know NABH infection control chapter

4. Skills Required:

- Knowledge of HAI surveillance, BMW, CSSD, sterilization

- Good documentation, audit, and training skills

- Strict, disciplined, can correct staff on floor

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
