JOB DESCRIPTION – ELECTRICIAN

1. Job Responsibilities

 Carry out routine electrical maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.

 Attend electrical complaints and breakdowns and ensure timely resolution.

 Maintain LT panels, distribution boards, MCC panels, and electrical control panels.

 Monitor and maintain lighting systems, power sockets, switches, wiring, and electrical fixtures.

 Assist in the maintenance of transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, and other electrical equipment, as assigned.

 Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance as per the approved schedule.

 Monitor electrical consumption, energy meters, and power factor readings.

 Identify electrical faults, loose connections, overheating, and potential safety hazards.

 Report equipment abnormalities to the supervisor and ensure timely corrective action.

 Follow electrical safety procedures, including PPE use and secure isolation practices.

 Maintain daily maintenance logs, checklists, breakdown reports, and equipment records.





 Coordinate with engineering team members and support facility operations.

 Comply with site safety rules, maintenance SOPs, and permit-to-work requirements where applicable.

2. Required Skills

 Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and electrical drawings.

 Practical experience in electrical fault finding and troubleshooting.

 Knowledge of preventive maintenance and electrical safety practices.

 Ability to use electrical testing instruments such as a multimeter and clamp meter.

 Basic understanding of electrical panels, motors, earthing, and circuit protection.

 Good communication skills and willingness to work in shifts, if required.

3. Candidate Requirements

 ITI Electrician or relevant electrical qualification.

 1–3 years of relevant experience in residential communities, commercial buildings, facility management, or

industrial maintenance preferred.

 Physically fit and capable of carrying out routine maintenance activities safely.

 Responsible, punctual, and able to work as part of an engineering team.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
