Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Junior Server Engineer to support the installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of server infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Windows/Linux servers, networking, virtualization, and system administration.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and/or Linux servers.
- Monitor server performance, availability, CPU, memory, disk space, and system health.
- Troubleshoot server, operating system, application, and connectivity issues.
- Perform user and access management, including Active Directory administration.
- Manage basic DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and network configurations.
- Apply operating system patches, updates, and security fixes.
- Monitor backups and assist with backup/restore operations.
- Support VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization environments.
- Review system logs and respond to monitoring alerts.




- Assist with server hardware, storage, and infrastructure maintenance.
- Maintain server documentation, asset records, and configuration details.
- Follow incident, change, and security management procedures.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers when required.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux.
- Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with VMware or Hyper-V.
- Basic knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, or command-line tools.
- Understanding of server backup and monitoring concepts.
- Valuable troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skill

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
