Job Description

Team Back Office International LLP (TBO) is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with a CMA qualification to manage the company's accounting, financial reporting, cost management, and compliance activities. Candidates with prior experience in an IT or software services company will be preferred.

The ideal candidate should have strong financial knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to manage day-to-day accounting operations while supporting management with accurate financial information and business insights.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, invoicing, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Handle GST, TDS, income tax coordination, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Monitor cash flow, bank balances, outstanding payments, and receivables.
- Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, cost analysis, and variance reports.
- Monitor project-wise revenue, expenses, profitability, and operating costs.
- Manage payroll accounting, employee reimbursements, and salary-related entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and month-end and year-end closing.




- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.
- Support management in financial planning, cost control, and strategic decision-making.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- CMA qualification is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience preferred.
- Experience in an IT, software development, ERP, or technology services company is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as ERPNext, Tally, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with management and external professionals.
