Qualification: ITI, Diploma (Mechanical), BE (Mechanical) or a related field
Experience: 6months to 1year
Certification: NDT Certified (UT / PAUT)
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled UT & PAUT Technician to join our quality assurance and inspection team. The role involves conducting ultrasonic testing using phased array technology to detect flaws and ensure the integrity of materials and structures. This position is suitable for both freshers eager to build their career in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and experienced UT technicians looking to advance their skills to PAUT &TOFD.;
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Phased array ultrasonic testing on various materials and components as per industry standards.
- Prepare and calibrate PAUT equipment before inspections.
- Interpret and analyse test data, detect and document flaws, discontinuities, and defects.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all testing activities.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to support inspection and maintenance schedules.
- Maintain test equipment and ensure it is in valuable working condition.
- Update knowledge on industry standards, technologies, and best practices relevant to PAUT.
