Job Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor hard chrome plating processes for industrial components.
- Perform surface preparation, cleaning, masking and loading/unloading of components.
- Assist in maintaining plating bath conditions and process parameters as per instructions.
- Monitor plating quality, coating thickness and surface finish.
- Identify plating defects and report them to the supervisor.
- Handle chemicals safely and follow all safety procedures.
- Maintain production records and follow work instructions.
- Keep the work area clean and follow 5S practices.
- Coordinate with the production and quality teams to ensure product quality.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hard chrome plating or a related plating process.
- Basic knowledge of plating operations and chemical handling.
- Understanding of surface preparation and plating quality.
- Ability to follow safety instructions and production schedules.
- Willingness to work on the shop floor.
Qualification
- ITI / 10th / 12th pass preferred.
- Relevant hands-on plating experience is preferred over formal qualification.
