Job Purpose: To provide basic healthcare and practical skills training to ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) and GDA (General Duty Assistant) students, preparing them to deliver safe, compassionate, and quality patient care in hospitals and home healthcare settings.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Training Delivery: Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions on basic healthcare, nursing fundamentals, and patient care for ANM and GDA students.

2. Basic Nursing Skills: Teach personal hygiene, bed making, patient positioning, mobility assistance, feeding assistance, and basic bedside care.

3. Patient Care & Safety: Train students in infection prevention, hand hygiene, PPE usage, biomedical waste management, and maintaining a safe patient environment.

4. Vital Signs Monitoring: Demonstrate the proper methods of measuring and recording temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation, within the students’ authorized scope of practice.

5. Practical Demonstrations: Conduct hands-on demonstrations, role plays, simulations, and supervised practical sessions to improve students’ clinical skills.

6. Training Material Preparation: Develop lesson plans, presentations, practical manuals, and assessment materials according to the training curriculum.

7. Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct written tests, practical examinations, and regular assessments to evaluate students’ knowledge, skills, and progress.

8. Student Mentoring: Guide and motivate students,



clarify their doubts, and provide feedback to improve their performance and professional confidence.

9. Professional Behaviour: Teach communication skills, patient dignity, privacy, confidentiality, empathy, and professional ethics.

10. Attendance & Documentation: Maintain student attendance, training records, assessment sheets, practical logs, and other required documentation.

11. Emergency Awareness: Provide basic training on recognizing emergencies, raising alerts, and following approved first-aid and basic life support protocols within the trainer’s competence.

12. Clinical Exposure: Coordinate supervised practical exposure or demonstrations, where permitted, to help students understand real-life healthcare environments.

13. Training Compliance: Ensure training activities follow the prescribed curriculum, organizational policies, infection-control protocols, and applicable healthcare training standards.

14. Placement Readiness: Prepare students for employment by strengthening their practical skills, discipline, teamwork, communication, and understanding of workplace responsibilities.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
