About the Role
NEKSS Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Database Developer to design, develop, optimize, and maintain database systems. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL expertise, hands-on experience with MySQL, and a solid understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and data security.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain database structures, tables, stored procedures, functions, and SQL jobs.
Write, analyze, and optimize complex SQL queries for improved performance.
Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
Work with MySQL (mandatory) and other databases such as MongoDB, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
Ensure database security, data integrity, access control, and quality.
Develop and maintain database solutions based on project requirements.
Conduct database migration, upgrades, backups, and routine maintenance.
Monitor database performance and implement scalability improvements.
Prepare technical documentation and performance reports.
Follow database management best practices and applicable security standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in database development or management.
Strong proficiency in SQL and MySQL.
Hands-on experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and SQL jobs.
Good understanding of database architecture, indexing, performance tuning, and query optimization.
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
Knowledge of data security, database maintenance, and integrity management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
