We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Accounts Executive to oversee our daily financial accounting, reconciliation processes, and management reporting.

Role Overview

As an Accounts Executive, you will manage our day-to-day financial accounting and record-keeping operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate cash and bank records, performing detailed reconciliations, ensuring inventory and ledger accuracy in Tally, and generating regular Management Information System (MIS) reports to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Core Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Maintain and manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including cashbook, bank transactions, and ledger entries in Tally.
- Maintain accurate records of Petty Cash, daily cash receipts, and store/field disbursements.
- Process accounts payable (vendor invoices) and accounts receivable (customer payments, institutional billing, and outstanding recoveries).
- Ensure proper filing, indexing, and documentation of all tax invoices, vouchers, and financial records.

Reconciliation & Compliance

- Perform regular Bank Reconciliations (BRS) and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Conduct periodic Ledger Reconciliations for suppliers, institutional buyers, and retail accounts.
- Assist in physical stock audit reconciliations against inventory records recorded in Tally.




- Coordinate with internal/external auditors during financial reviews and audits.

MIS & Financial Reporting

- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS Reports (Sales vs. Collections, Cash Flow Statements, Expenses Analysis, and Outstanding Ageing Reports) for management review.
- Analyze financial data to highlight cost-saving opportunities and operational cash flow trends.
- Assist management with budget tracking, cash flow forecasting, and month-end/year-end closing procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting field.
- Experience: 5-8 years of hands-on experience in core accounting (retail, trading, or distribution industry experience is a plus).
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Sumifs) and MS Office.
- In-depth understanding of double-entry accounting principles, cashbook management, and BRS.
- Competencies:
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical capability.
- Strong integrity, organizational skills, and ability to meet reporting deadlines.
- Clear communication skills in English and Tamil.
