- Fabric & Material Research: Research current fashion trends, fiber properties, yarn types, and emerging textile technologies.
- Pattern & Print Development: Design original fabric prints, surface ornamentations, and weave structures (such as jacquards, knits, or traditional textiles).
- Color & Texture Selection: Build seasonal color palettes and select appropriate textures, embellishments, and finishes.
- Prototyping & Sampling: Create digital or physical fabric swatches, mock-ups, and prototype samples.
- Production Coordination: Work closely with textile mills, manufacturers, and production teams to ensure fabric designs scale properly for mass production or boutique output.
- Quality & Technical Compliance: Test fabrics for durability, colorfastness, shrinkage, and alignment with cost and sustainability standards.
