Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with strong cinematic editing and visual storytelling skills to join our team in Mahadevapura, Bengaluru.

The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of professional experience in video editing, particularly in documentary films, brand films, corporate films, and cinematic content. We are looking for someone who can transform raw footage into compelling visual stories through effective narrative development, pacing, music, sound design, and emotional storytelling.

Candidates must be proficient in DaVinci Resolve and have working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and the ability to integrate AI-generated visuals into films will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit documentary films, brand films, corporate films, and cinematic video projects from raw footage to final delivery.
- Develop compelling narratives through effective footage selection, sequencing, and storytelling.
- Maintain appropriate pacing, rhythm, emotional flow, and narrative continuity throughout each project.
- Work with music, sound effects, ambience, and sound design to enhance the overall viewing experience.
- Ensure strong visual composition, smooth transitions, visual continuity, and cinematic quality.
- Use DaVinci Resolve as the primary editing software.
- Create motion graphics, animations, compositing, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects.
- Prepare and edit visual assets using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.




- Explore and integrate AI-powered creative tools and AI-generated visuals into video projects wherever appropriate.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and translate creative briefs into engaging visual content.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions while maintaining high standards of quality and timely delivery.

Required Software Skills

- DaVinci Resolve: Strong proficiency in professional video editing; primary editing software for this role.
- Adobe After Effects: Working knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and visual effects.
- Adobe Photoshop: Knowledge of image editing and visual asset preparation.
- Adobe Illustrator: Knowledge of vector graphics and creative assets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 2–3 years of professional experience in video editing and post-production.
- Strong visual storytelling and narrative editing abilities.
- Experience editing documentary films, brand films, corporate films, or cinematic content.
- Positive understanding of pacing, emotions, music, and sound design.
- Ability to build compelling stories from raw footage.
- Strong sense of composition, transitions, visual continuity, and cinematic aesthetics.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects.




- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and integrating AI-generated visuals into films.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- Ability to understand creative direction and work collaboratively with the team.

Portfolio Requirements

Candidates must submit a portfolio showcasing their storytelling and cinematic editing capabilities.

Preferred projects include:

- Documentary films
- Brand films and brand storytelling projects
- Corporate films
- Narrative-driven cinematic content

Important: The portfolio should demonstrate complete storytelling sequences, including narrative development, emotional engagement, pacing, and visual continuity.

Portfolios consisting exclusively of social media reels, montages, or transition-based edits may not adequately demonstrate the skills required for this position. Preference will be given to candidates with strong narrative-driven and cinematic work.

We are looking for someone who understands that effective video editing is more than transitions and effects. The right candidate should be able to identify the story within raw footage and shape it into a meaningful, engaging, and visually compelling film.
