Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, banking, reconciliations, taxation and financial reporting activities. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Tally and preferably have experience in the Gems & Jewellery industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Pass Journal Vouchers (JV), purchase, sales, receipt and payment entries.
- Manage banking transactions, bank reconciliation and cash/bank entries.
- Perform ledger scrutiny, account reconciliation and outstanding reconciliation.
- Handle GST compliance, including GST entries, reconciliation and return-related data.
- Manage TDS calculation, deduction, reconciliation and compliance.
- Assist in monthly/annual closing and finalization of accounts.
- Prepare and maintain schedules required for finalization of books of accounts.
- Coordinate for Income Tax matters, data preparation and statutory compliance.
- Ensure proper accounting of receivables, payables, expenses, advances and provisions.
- Verify invoices, supporting documents and accounting transactions for accuracy.




- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks and other financial institutions as required.
- Ensure timely completion of accounting and statutory compliance activities.
- Prepare basic MIS and accounting reports as required by management.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Good knowledge of Accounting Principles and Finalization of Accounts.
- Hands-on knowledge of GST, TDS and Income Tax.
- Strong understanding of Bank Reconciliation and Ledger Reconciliation.
- Positive knowledge of Journal Entries and accounting adjustments.
- Good MS Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to independently handle accounting activities.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Candidates with experience in the Gems & Jewellery industry will be preferred.
- Experience handling complete/general accounting functions independently.
- Commerce graduate such as B.Com / M.Com preferred.
- Should be responsible, reliable and capable of meeting statutory and accounting deadlines.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
