Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Engineer to support construction activities, monitor site progress, ensure quality standards, and coordinate with contractors and the project team to ensure timely completion of real estate projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Supervision: Monitor daily construction activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Quality Control: Check the quality of construction materials, workmanship, and ongoing civil work.
- Progress Monitoring: Track daily site progress and prepare regular progress reports for senior engineers.
- Drawing Interpretation: Read and understand civil engineering drawings, layouts, and structural plans.
- Measurement & Estimation: Assist in quantity calculations, material estimation, and measurement of completed work.
- Material Management: Monitor the use of construction materials and minimize material wastage.
- Labour Coordination: Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, and labour teams to ensure smooth site operations.
- Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with construction safety guidelines and site regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain site records, daily work reports, measurements, and material consumption reports.
- Coordination: Report site issues and technical requirements to senior engineers and project managers.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods, building materials, and civil engineering practices.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Excel is preferred.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work at construction sites and meet project deadlines.
Experience
- Freshers can apply.
- Candidates with 0–2 years of experience in civil construction or real estate projects will be preferred.
