Senior Playwright / Java Automation LeadAbout the Role

We are looking for a Senior Playwright / Java Automation Lead with 10+ years of experience to own automation framework architecture, define automation strategy and best practices, and provide technical and leadership direction to the automation team.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the architecture, design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the automation framework.
- Define automation strategy, standards, best practices, and the overall test automation approach.
- Drive automation using Java and Playwright across relevant application and testing needs.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders and provide clear executive-level reporting.
- Review the team's automation code and technical output to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Mentor, guide, and support automation engineers while raising overall team capability.
- Design and maintain CI/CD integration for automated testing and ensure reliable execution within delivery pipelines.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, execution efficiency, stability, and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of overall experience in software testing / test automation.
- Robust hands-on experience with Java-based test automation.




- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Experience in automation framework architecture and design.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and integration of automated tests into delivery pipelines.
- Experience defining automation strategy, standards, and best practices.
- Strong code review, technical mentoring, and team leadership capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and executive reporting skills.

- Own automation quality and technical direction end-to-end.
- Serve as the key bridge between the automation team and business/technical stakeholders.
- Communicate risks, progress, automation metrics, and key outcomes to senior stakeholders.
- Mentor team members and establish a strong culture of engineering quality and best practices.
