About the Role
Moulis Advertising is seeking a skilled and imaginative Senior Visualizer to lead visual storytelling and design execution across a varied portfolio of corporate brands, public awareness initiatives, and government/civic mandates.
In this role, you will transform creative briefs, civic messages, and brand strategies into high-impact visual narratives. You will oversee designs spanning traditional large-format outdoor media, mainline print layouts, comprehensive brand identities, and modern digital/social media campaigns. The ideal candidate pairs strong aesthetic judgment with typography mastery, speed, and the ability to design effectively across multilingual formats.
Key Responsibilities1. Concept Development & Visual Storytelling
- Partner closely with copywriters, creative directors, and client servicing leads to brainstorm, conceptualize, and develop big visual ideas for multi-channel campaigns.
- Translate complex narratives—such as government policies, civic awareness schemes, infrastructure initiatives, and corporate announcements—into clear, engaging visual designs.
- Create storyboards, layout sketches, and visual mood boards to pitch concepts effectively to internal leads and clients.
2. Design Execution Across Media
- Mainline & Outdoor: Craft print ads, hoardings, bus shelters, transit wraps, brochures, and exhibition/event displays with meticulous attention to scale, bleeds, and production specifications.
- Digital & Social Media: Design eye-catching social creatives, carousels, infocards, ad banners, and visual assets tailored for digital platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook).
- Identity & Editorial: Develop branding assets, vector icons, custom infographics, annual reports, and commemorative souvenir layouts.
3. Multilingual Typography & Protocol Compliance
- Demonstrate high proficiency in handling multilingual typography and typography pairing (English, Hindi, Marathi, and other regional scripts).
- Ensure strict adherence to brand guidelines, government emblem/logo protocols, color schemes, and official hierarchy standards on public sector collateral.
- Prepare print-ready, high-resolution artworks with exact color profiling (CMYK/RGB), bleed margins, and pre-press quality checks.
4. Team Collaboration & Mentorship
- Guide and mentor junior visualizers and graphic artists, ensuring creative quality, brand consistency, and design rigor across all deliverables.
- Manage multiple campaign deadlines simultaneously, troubleshooting creative challenges and iterating rapidly based on feedback.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Experience: 5–8 years of proven art direction and visual design experience within an advertising agency or design studio.
- Education: Degree/Diploma in Applied Arts, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or Visual Communication (e.g., BFA, GD Art, or equivalent).
- Portfolio Requirement: A robust portfolio demonstrating creative campaign concepts, high-impact typography, layout design, print ads, OOH, and digital/social media creatives. Prior work with government, PSU, or civic communication is an added advantage.
- Technical Mastery:
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Working knowledge of motion design tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro) or vector/Figma prototyping is a strong plus.
- Deep understanding of prepress processes, printing techniques, paper substrates, and production specifications.
- Language & Script Handling: Practical familiarity with Indian language fonts, Indic typography tools (e.g., Shree-Lipi, ISM), and handling regional script layouts accurately.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
