We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Food Cart Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate should have basic cooking skills, an understanding of fast food preparation, and the ability to prepare snacks and desserts while maintaining food quality and hygiene.

The menu includes crispy corn, mozzarella sticks, chicken nuggets, pita pockets, other finger foods, Nutella strawberry cups, and scoopable cookies.

Prior experience working at a food cart, café, fast-food outlet, or QSR is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with positive practical cooking skills.

Key Responsibilities

- ⁠ Prepare and serve menu items, including crispy corn, mozzarella sticks, chicken nuggets, pita pockets, and other snacks.⁠
- ⁠Prepare and assemble desserts, including Nutella strawberry cups and scoopable cookies, following the provided recipes.
- Operate basic kitchen equipment, including fryers and other cooking appliances, safely and efficiently.
- Ensure consistent taste, quality, presentation, and portion sizes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the food preparation and serving areas.
- Monitor ingredient supplies and inform the management when stock needs replenishment.⁠
- ⁠Follow food safety guidelines and proper storage procedures.
- Manage customer orders efficiently,



especially during busy periods.
- ⁠Minimise food wastage and maintain an organised workstation.

Requirements

- ⁠Basic cooking knowledge and practical food preparation skills.
- Familiarity with frying, assembling snacks, and preparing simple desserts.
- Ability to follow recipes and standard preparation procedures.
- Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Punctual, responsible, and willing to learn.
- ⁠Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience and Qualifications

⁠Experience: Freshers may apply; prior experience in a café, fast-food outlet, QSR, or food cart is preferred.

⁠Education: No specific educational qualification required; practical cooking skills are more important.

⁠⁠Training: On-the-job training may be provided for menu-specific preparation.
