Job Summary

Reliant Group of Institutions is seeking an experienced, motivated, and result-oriented Senior Academic Counsellor to manage student enquiries, provide professional course guidance, and drive admissions at our Calicut centre.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong counselling abilities, and proven experience in student admissions and lead conversion.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle student enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins, and online platforms.
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, career opportunities, fees, and admission procedures.
- Convert enquiries into admissions through effective counselling and consistent follow-ups.
- Manage leads generated through digital marketing campaigns, social media, and other sources.
- Achieve monthly admission targets and contribute to overall business growth.
- Guide and support junior academic counsellors to improve their performance.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, admissions, and fee payments.
- Develop effective strategies to improve lead conversion and student enrolment.
- Coordinate with faculty, marketing teams, and management regarding admissions and student requirements.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective students and parents.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly admission reports.




- Ensure professional communication and a high standard of student service.

Required Skills

- Excellent communication and convincing skills.
- Strong student counselling and admission conversion abilities.
- Proven experience in educational counselling, admissions, or education sales.
- Ability to handle admission targets and work in a performance-driven workplace.
- Strong leadership, team coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM software, and lead management.
- Excellent follow-up and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in Malayalam and English is preferred.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in academic counselling, student admissions, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in an educational institution, training centre, or skill development institute is highly desirable.
- Experience handling admission targets and guiding counselling teams will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
