Job Summary

YoungMinds Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented candidates to join our team as Software Tester Trainees. The selected candidates will work on our software products, including Petrosoft, Restosoft, LPGsoft, Retailsoft, and Food Tech.

Candidates will gain hands-on experience in Quality Assurance (QA), Manual Testing, Automation Testing, defect identification, test case preparation, and software quality improvement. This role provides an opportunity to understand real-time software applications and ensure that our products meet quality standards before release.

Software Products

- Petrosoft: Software solutions for the petroleum and fuel retail industry.
- Restosoft: Software solutions for restaurant and food-service operations.
- LPGsoft: Software solutions for LPG business operations.
- Retailsoft: Software solutions for retail business management.
- Food Tech: Technology solutions for food-service and related business operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Assurance (QA) Testing

- Understand product requirements, specifications, and business workflows.
- Verify that software applications function according to requirements.
- Ensure product quality, reliability, and usability.
- Identify, document, track, and report software defects.

2. Manual Testing

- Prepare and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing as required.
- Validate application workflows, forms, reports, and data accuracy.
- Re-test resolved defects and verify fixes.
- Maintain test documentation and prepare testing reports.

3. Automation Testing

- Learn and execute automated test cases using appropriate testing tools and frameworks.
- Assist in developing and maintaining automation scripts.




- Understand automation testing concepts and identify suitable test scenarios for automation.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
- Work with the QA team to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

4. Product Testing and Support

- Test Petrosoft, Restosoft, LPGsoft, Retailsoft, and Food Tech applications.
- Understand product functionality and industry-specific workflows.
- Reproduce and report issues encountered during product testing.
- Coordinate with developers to resolve defects.
- Assist with application validation after bug fixes and product updates.

Eligibility Criteria

- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of software testing concepts is an advantage.
- Interest in Manual Testing, Automation Testing, and Quality Assurance.
- Basic computer knowledge and analytical thinking.
- Good observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn new testing tools, technologies, and software products.
- Ability to work collaboratively with developers and other team members.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Understanding of test cases, test scenarios, bug life cycle, and defect reporting.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, databases, or API testing.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks is an advantage.
