Job Title: Production Supervisor

Experience: 3–5 Years

Qualification: ITI / Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or relevant engineering discipline.

Job Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Job Responsibilities

- Supervise daily production activities and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Allocate manpower and machines according to the production plan.
- Monitor production output, cycle time, downtime and overall productivity.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance and Stores departments to ensure smooth production.
- Ensure products meet required quality standards and customer specifications.
- Monitor rejection, rework and scrap levels and take corrective actions.
- Ensure operators follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain production reports, shift reports, attendance and machine utilisation records.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Handle operator-related issues and provide on-the-job guidance to production workers.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and implementation of 5S practices on the shop floor.




- Coordinate shift handovers and report production issues to the Production Manager.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.
- Experience in manpower handling and shop-floor supervision.
- Understanding of quality inspection and production documentation.
- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen and basic problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to monitor production targets and reduce rejection.
- Good communication, leadership and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of CNC/VMC machines is an advantage for engineering companies.

Salary & Benefits

- Expected salary: ₹25,000–₹30,000 per month.
- Salary negotiable based on experience and technical skills.
- OT, shift allowance and other advantages as per company policy.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
