Job Summary

The CBSE Soft Skills Trainer is responsible for developing students’ communication, interpersonal, leadership, confidence, and personality development skills. The trainer helps students improve their spoken English, public speaking, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and professional etiquette through interactive sessions and practical activities aligned with the school’s academic environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Communication Skills

- Improve students’ verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Conduct spoken English, vocabulary-building, and conversation practice sessions.
- Develop listening, presentation, and public speaking skills.

2. Personality Development

- Build students’ self-confidence, positive attitude, and self-awareness.
- Train students in body language, personal grooming, and social etiquette.
- Encourage self-discipline, responsibility, and a growth mindset.

3. Leadership and Teamwork

- Develop leadership, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
- Organize group discussions, role-plays, debates, and team-building activities.
- Encourage students to participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

4. Life Skills and Emotional Intelligence

- Teach time management, goal setting, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
- Help students develop empathy, emotional regulation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Promote respectful behaviour, positive relationships, and responsible decision-making.

5. Training and Assessment

- Prepare lesson plans, training modules, worksheets, and activity-based sessions.
- Conduct mock interviews, presentations,



and public speaking exercises where appropriate.
- Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain attendance, assessment records, and student development reports.

6. School Coordination

- Collaborate with teachers and school management to support holistic student development.
- Organize workshops, competitions, and personality development programmes.
- Ensure training activities are age-appropriate and aligned with the school’s educational objectives.

Educational Qualifications

- Any undergraduate degree; a degree in English, Psychology, Education, Communication, or Human Resources is preferred.
- Certification in Soft Skills Training, Personality Development, Communication Skills, or related fields is an added advantage.
- Solid spoken English and presentation skills are essential.

Required Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Confidence in public speaking and conducting interactive sessions.
- Good interpersonal, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
- Creativity in designing activities and training programmes.
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.

Experience

- Experience in soft skills training, spoken English training, personality development, or school teaching is preferred.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications and excellent communication skills may also be considered.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Improvement in students’ communication and presentation skills.
- Student participation and engagement during training sessions.
- Progress in confidence, teamwork, leadership, and interpersonal behaviour.
- Completion of planned training sessions and assessments.
- Feedback from students, teachers, and school management.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
