Position Title: SEO & AI Search Specialist

Location: Mumbai, India

Reports To: Sr. Manager Digital Growth & Technology

c3digitus (a c3controls company) helps brands win organic search, AI search, and every organic channel that drives growth. We're building a growth team for customer success, and we are looking for an SEO & AI Search Specialist to own organic growth for a small set of our customers across search, AI engines, and channel-level distribution.

Search is changing fast. Buyers now discover brands through Google, through AI engines like Chat GPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews, and through communities and creators on YouTube, LinkedIn, and Reddit. We are looking for someone who understands this new landscape deeply and can confidently build growth across all of it.

As a SEO and AI Search Specialist, you'll need to have:

- 2+ years of hands-on and strategic SEO experience, preferably in SaaS or B2B category.
- Experience contributing to or owning SEO strategy execution with measurable impact.
- Strong understanding of AI search, AEO/GEO, and LLM-driven content discovery.
- Deep expertise in keyword research, intent mapping, and content strategy.
- Solid technical SEO knowledge (indexing, crawlability, JS SEO, site architecture).
- Experience collaborating across teams; exposure to mentoring junior team members is a plus.
- Highly hands-on with GSC, GA4, Semrush/Ahrefs, and SEO diagnostic tools.
- Clear, structured, and analytical thinker with robust prioritization skills.
- Experience with programmatic SEO or large-scale content systems.
- Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and experimentation.




- Experience supporting SEO efforts across multiple markets or regions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Execute and contribute to the end-to-end SEO and AEO/GEO strategy aligned with company OKRs.
- Build and execute organic growth plans across traditional search engines and AI-driven
- Support positioning the brand as a trusted source for AI-generated answers.
- Lead keyword, topic, and entity research with strong intent mapping.
- Decide what content to build, why, and how it drives business impact.
- Collaborate closely with content writers to ensure SEO, UX, and clarity are embedded from the start.
- Apply strong UX principles to content structure, tone, layout, and overall usability.
- Ensure content is optimized for users first, while remaining search- and AI-friendly.
- Track and analyze performance using Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush/ Ahrefs, and related SEO tools.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to support SEO initiatives.
- Directly report the business impact of SEO initiatives to leadership & ideate growth strategies
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior SEO or content team members, as needed. answer platforms.

Required Education and Experience

- Graduate/Diploma or Equivalent degree in Marketing.
- At least 2 years of prior experience in SEO/AI Visibility.
- Ability to think creatively, strategically and identify/resolve complex problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill (English)
- Strong organizational, time management and analytical skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- Ability to work within a team and independently.
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to handle frequent feedback.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 11:00am - 8:00pm, 40 hours per

week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
