About the Company

Alpha Trading is an established wholesale trading company dealing in electrical, sanitaryware, hardware, and plumbing products, with business operations in Kerala and Bahrain. We are looking for an experienced and responsible Branch Manager to manage the overall operations of our Valanchery branch and ensure smooth coordination between sales, accounts, billing, and inventory management.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, responsible, and result-oriented Branch Manager with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the electrical, sanitaryware, hardware, or plumbing wholesale trading industry.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in branch operations, sales management, inventory control, billing, customer collections, and accounting procedures. Candidates with good accounting knowledge and hands-on experience in Tally or similar accounting software will be given special preference.

Candidates from Kerala with good communication skills in Malayalam and English are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise the overall day-to-day operations of the branch.
- Lead and monitor the sales team to achieve monthly sales targets.
- Monitor sales, purchases, customer payments, outstanding balances, and collections.
- Supervise billing, invoicing, cash transactions, and financial documentation.
- Maintain and review accounting records using Tally or similar accounting software.
- Monitor stock availability, stock movement, inventory records, and replenishment requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, sales staff, accounts staff, and warehouse personnel.
- Prepare regular sales, stock, collection, and branch expense reports for management.
- Ensure accuracy in billing,



accounting entries, stock records, and financial transactions.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop new business opportunities.
- Monitor branch expenses and support effective cost control.
- Ensure smooth coordination between sales, accounts, billing, and store operations.
- Identify operational issues and take appropriate action to improve branch performance.
- Report branch performance and operational updates to management.
- Take responsibility for the overall efficiency and performance of the branch.

Qualifications & Experience

- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the electrical, sanitaryware, hardware, or plumbing wholesale trading industry is mandatory.
- Candidates with previous experience in electrical wholesale shops or companies dealing in electrical, sanitaryware, and hardware products will be given preference.
- Practical experience in branch management, sales operations, stock control, billing, and customer collections is required.
- Candidates with good accounting knowledge and hands-on experience in Tally or similar accounting software will receive special preference.
- Knowledge of sales entries, purchase entries, supplier accounts, customer outstanding balances, payment records, and financial documentation will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of electrical, sanitaryware, hardware, and plumbing products is preferred.
- Basic working knowledge of MS Excel and billing software is desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication,



decision-making, and team management skills are required.
- Ability to manage branch operations independently and work towards business targets.

Language Requirements

- Malayalam: Good communication skills are mandatory.
- English: Good communication skills are required for professional communication with customers, suppliers, and staff.

Candidate Preference

- Candidates currently residing in Kerala or originally from Kerala will be given preference.
- Candidates with previous experience in electrical wholesale trading companies will be prioritised.
- Candidates with experience in electrical, sanitaryware, hardware, and plumbing product distribution will be preferred.
- Candidates who can independently handle sales, accounts, billing, inventory, and branch operations will receive special consideration.

Salary & Perks

- Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹75,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Accommodation: Free company-provided accommodation.
- Working Hours: Starting at 9:30 AM.
