Role : Senior Geotechnical Engineers - Designing

About the role

Company is seeking Geotechnical Engineers from various experience levels to join our remote working engineering team in our India Office.

As part of design team, you will contribute to the planning, analysis, and design of geotechnical aspects of marine, port, and coastal infrastructure projects. You will work closely with coastal, structural, and marine engineers within multidisciplinary teams delivering projects across international markets.

The role provides exposure to projects throughout the full engineering lifecycle, from early-stage feasibility studies and concept development through detailed design, tender documentation, and construction support.

Key Responsibilities

- · Undertake geotechnical analyses and design for marine and coastal infrastructure projects, including quay walls, breakwaters, reclamation works, waterfront developments, piled structures, retaining systems, and ground improvement solutions.
- · Interpret geotechnical investigation data, laboratory test results, and field-testing records to establish design parameters and geotechnical models.
- · Perform geotechnical assessments, including bearing capacity, settlement, slope stability, liquefaction, earth retaining structures, and foundation design.
- · Develop engineering calculations, geotechnical design reports, basis of design documents, and technical memoranda in accordance with international standards and project requirements.
- · Support preparation of investigation specifications and review of factual and interpretative reports.
- · Participate in design reviews, technical coordination meetings,



and client discussions throughout the project lifecycle.
- · Ensure engineering deliverables comply with relevant international standards, authority requirements, and project quality procedures.
- · Provide engineering support during construction, including responses to clarifications, review of contractor submissions, and participation in site visits when required.

Required Qualifications

- · Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering.
- · Minimum 10+ years of experience in analysis and design of civil structures
- · Experience in geotechnical analysis and design software such as PLAXIS 2D/3D, GEO5, WALLAP, Slide, LPILE, APILE, or similar tools.
- · Experience interpreting geotechnical investigation data and preparing geotechnical design reports.
- · Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- · Ability to participate in site visits and occasional travel, depending on project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

- · Experience with reclamation projects, breakwaters, quay walls, deep foundations, ground improvement, and waterfront developments.
- · Knowledge of marine, port, and coastal engineering projects and associated geotechnical challenges.
- · Familiarity with international geotechnical design standards including Eurocodes, BS Standards, PIANC recommendations, API, and relevant industry guidelines.
- · Experience with seismic geotechnical analysis, liquefaction assessment, and energetic soil-structure interaction.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
