Responsibilities

- Daily feeding, and monitoring of fish health and behaviour
- Testing and logging water quality (pH, TDS, ammonia, temperature, dissolved oxygen)
- Managing biofloc tanks, including aeration, water exchange and floc control
- Running and maintaining pumps, aerators, the inverter and battery backup
- Assisting with grading, harvesting and packing
- Keeping daily records of feed, mortality and stock
- Keeping the farm clean and following biosecurity practices
- Watching over farm security and reporting issues

Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience in fish farming, biofloc or RAS (freshers with strong interest will be considered)
- Basic understanding of water quality and fish disease signs
- Comfortable with basic electrical and plumbing troubleshooting
- Able to keep easy records, and use a smartphone for photos and reports
- Honest, punctual and willing to work on-site, including early mornings
- Preferably from or near the local area

Preferred (not mandatory)

- Diploma or certificate in fisheries or aquaculture
- Experience with catfish or small indigenous fish species
- Knowledge of Hindi and the local language

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
