JOB DESCRIPTION

Sales & Export Invoice Booking Executive

Department: Finance & Accounts | Reporting To: Senior Accountant / Finance Controller

Key Responsibilities

1. Booking domestic and export sales invoices in the ERP system accurately and within prescribed timelines.

2. Booking online marketplace sales, including Amazon, based on sales reports and settlement reports.

3. Reconciling marketplace sales, commissions, fees, returns, refunds and other deductions with settlement reports.

4. Verifying invoices against sales orders, dispatch details and supporting documents, including GSTIN, HSN codes and tax rates.

5. Verifying export documentation, including shipping bills, packing lists and bills of lading/airway bills.

6. Preparing and reconciling sales data for GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.

7. Ensuring accurate reporting of domestic, export and e-commerce sales in GST returns and resolving discrepancies.

Preparing and reviewing customer/debtors ageing reports

9. Reconciling customer accounts, debtors’ balances, sales registers and the general ledger, with timely resolution of differences.

10. Supporting month-end sales closing, credit note accounting, audit requirements and timely resolution of invoice-related queries.

Qualifications & Skills

· B.Com or equivalent qualification; 4–5 years of relevant experience preferred.

· Working knowledge of GST, sales accounting, export documentation and marketplace settlement reports.

· Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP
