Rising Tide Enterprises is looking for an Operations Manager to run the full operations cycle of our export business, from planning procurement and production to stock, shipments and payment realisation. You will report directly to the Director and work with the factory, document, data and accounts teams so that orders are produced, shipped and paid for on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan the procurement of raw and frozen materials in line with confirmed orders and production needs
- Plan production with the Factory Manager for raw-material orders.
- Plan the ordering of labels, stickers and packaging materials so they are ready before production
- Plan the running of IQF machines with the factory in-charge for IQF production
- Maintain ready-stock records and coordinate with the Data Team so orders are taken against accurate stock
- Coordinate with the Document Team on vessel bookings, and with the factory on repacking and shipments
- Follow up with buyers for payments where required
- Coordinate with the Accounts Team on bank realisation once buyer payments are received
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Supply Chain,
Food Technology or a related field (MBA is a plus)
- 3+ years of experience in export operations, production planning or supply chain, preferably in frozen or processed food
- Understanding of frozen processing (including IQF), packaging, labelling and cold-chain handling
- Working knowledge of export shipments: vessel booking, repacking, loading and shipping documents
- Valuable command of Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with ERP/Tally is a plus
- Good communication in English and Bengali/Hindi, with confidence in following up with buyers
- Strong planning, follow-up and ownership
- Good to Have Experience planning production against export orders and shipment deadlines
- Experience with export payment follow-up and realisation
- Familiarity with buyer labelling and packaging requirements
