Job Purpose:

Dholakia Foundation is looking for a proactive and organised full-time Project Lead to manage its sustainability outreach initiatives, particularly the Haveli Excursion programme and Mission 10 Million Trees by 2030.

The role involves building relationships with educational institutions, corporate organisations and other stakeholders, generating participation, coordinating programme activities and ensuring smooth execution. The candidate should have strong communication and organisational skills, an interest in environmental conservation, and the ability to engage different groups in the Foundation’s work.

Duties & Responsibilities

Haveli Excursion Programme

- Manage the programme end to end, offering students, corporate teams and other groups hands-on learning experiences at the Foundation’s river restoration and conservation project sites in Dudhala.

- Manage bookings, schedules, participant communication,



logistics and coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of excursions.

- Travel to Dudhala as required to accompany visiting groups, explain the Foundation’s projects and provide an engaging introduction to river restoration, water conservation and sustainability.

Institutional Outreach & Partnerships

- Connect with colleges, universities, schools, corporate offices and other organisations to introduce the programme and generate participation.

- Identify prospective participants, manage enquiries, conduct follow-ups and convert leads into confirmed bookings.

- Develop relationships with potential collaborators, schools, corporates and community groups to expand participation in both initiatives.

Mission 10 Million Trees by 2030

- Lead outreach and engagement activities to encourage individuals, institutions and organisations to participate in the Foundation’s mission to plant, protect and grow 10 million trees by 2030.

Project Monitoring & Communication

- Maintain records of outreach, enquiries, bookings, participation and programme activities, and share regular progress updates with management.

- Support the preparation and dissemination of programme information,



presentations and outreach materials to increase awareness and participation.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

- 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, programme management, institutional outreach, education, events, community engagement or a related field.

Required Skills:

- Robust communication, presentation, coordination and relationship-building skills.

- Ability to interact confidently with students, educators, corporate representatives and other stakeholders.

- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities and follow-ups.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

- Genuine interest in sustainability, environmental conservation and community development.

- Willingness to travel to Dudhala and other project locations as required.
