Nebula Finance AI is an emerging financial technology company building an AI-powered finance workflow and intelligence platform for corporate clients in India.

Developed by AI engineers from Outstanding Britain, our platform is designed to transform how corporate finance and treasury teams manage financial workflows, access insights, evaluate financial decisions, and automate repetitive processes.

Our solutions focus on practical applications across corporate treasury and finance, including cash and liquidity management, foreign exchange exposure and hedging, debt management, investments, receivables analysis, and AI-assisted financial decision-making.

By connecting financial data, business systems, banking workflows, and AI-powered intelligence, Nebula aims to help organisations improve efficiency, visibility, risk management, and the quality of financial decisions.

We have completed pilot testing with two major corporate organisations in India and are preparing to commence commercial operations. We are now establishing our first Indian office in Kannur, Kerala, with a planned launch in January 2027.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly versatile, commercially minded and technology-oriented Founding Business Manager to work directly with the Founder.

This is not a conventional sales or administrative position. The successful candidate will play a central role in developing client relationships, identifying business opportunities, demonstrating our technology, understanding customer requirements, and supporting the implementation and commercial growth of the Nebula platform.

As our first employee in India, you will have significant exposure to the Founder, senior corporate decision-makers, and the development of a growing AI-finance business.

The ideal candidate will combine a sound understanding of corporate finance and treasury with excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, technological curiosity, and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Corporate Client Acquisition and Relationship Management

- Identify and develop business opportunities with large Indian corporates, including organisations with complex finance and treasury operations.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with Chief Financial Officers (CFOs), Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), Treasurers, Finance Directors, and other senior decision-makers.
- Research target organisations, understand their business models, and identify opportunities where Nebula's solutions can create measurable value.
- Arrange client meetings, introduce the platform, follow up on opportunities, and support the conversion of prospects into paying customers.
- Maintain a structured pipeline of prospects, meetings, demonstrations, proposals, and commercial opportunities.

2. Platform Demonstrations and Solution Development

- Develop a thorough understanding of the Nebula Finance AI platform, its modules, and its business applications.
- Conduct product demonstrations for prospective clients, including senior finance executives and corporate treasury teams.
- Understand customer requirements and translate business problems into practical technology use cases.
- Work with the Founder and technical team to communicate client feedback, refine demonstrations, and support the development of new features.
- Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, business cases, product documentation, and client-specific solution designs.

3. Corporate Finance and Treasury





- Develop a detailed understanding of corporate finance and treasury workflows, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, FX exposure, hedging, investments, debt management, and receivables.
- Understand how corporate finance teams interact with banks, ERP systems, financial data, and internal approval processes.
- Help identify opportunities to automate manual workflows and improve financial visibility through AI.
- Participate in discussions with client finance teams to understand existing processes and demonstrate how Nebula can improve them.

4. Technology and AI Applications

- Develop a working understanding of the technical architecture and capabilities of the Nebula platform.
- Demonstrate technological curiosity and an ability to understand how software applications, APIs, databases, AI models, and ERP integrations work.
- Work with the technical team to translate client requirements into clear functional specifications.
- Support platform testing, troubleshooting, user onboarding, and the preparation of user guides.
- Contribute to the development of practical AI-powered workflows for corporate finance.

A strong interest in coding and software development is essential. Candidates who can read or write basic code, understand APIs, work with data, or build simple technical demonstrations will have an advantage.

5. Commercial Operations and Business Development

- Support the Founder in preparing commercial proposals, pricing discussions, presentations, and client engagement strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify prospective customers, competitors, industry trends, and emerging opportunities in corporate finance technology.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales opportunities, and follow-up actions using a CRM or other business tools.
- Assist with client onboarding, implementation coordination, training, and ongoing relationship management.
- Help establish the processes, standards, and operating practices required to build Nebula's first Indian office.

6. Founder’s Office and Strategic Projects

- Work directly with the Founder on business development, strategic initiatives, operational planning, and market expansion.
- Take ownership of projects from initial research through execution and follow-up.
- Prepare concise reports, market assessments, meeting notes, and management updates.
- Represent Nebula professionally in client meetings, industry events, and business discussions.
- Be prepared to take on responsibilities beyond a conventional job description as the company evolves.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- An MBA in Finance, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
- A strong understanding of corporate finance, treasury, financial markets, or business financial operations.
- Excellent spoken and written English. This is a non-negotiable requirement, given the role's direct interaction with senior corporate executives.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, communication, and client-management skills.
- A good understanding of coding and software development concepts, with the ability to engage confidently with technical teams.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex business problems.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel regularly to major Indian cities based on client and business requirements.
- Willingness to relocate to other business locations, including Kochi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, or Dubai, if justified by the company's growth and business opportunities.

Preferred Skills and Experience





The following would be advantageous:

- Experience in corporate treasury, banking, financial services, fintech, enterprise software, or B2B technology sales.
- Exposure to FX markets, derivatives, hedging, liquidity management, investments, or debt financing.
- Experience engaging with CFOs, Treasurers, Finance Directors, or other senior corporate stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, financial software, APIs, databases, or business intelligence tools.
- Basic programming experience in Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with AI tools, large language models (LLMs), automation, or workflow software.
- Experience preparing business presentations, conducting product demonstrations, and developing commercial proposals.

Candidates with a strong combination of finance knowledge, technical aptitude, communication skills, and commercial potential will be considered even if they do not meet every preferred criterion.

Employment Structure

The role will begin with a six-month probationary period. Subject to satisfactory performance and the agreed employment terms, the position will continue as a full-time role.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Founder during the company's initial commercial expansion. As Nebula grows, there will be opportunities to assume greater responsibility across business development, client solutions, commercial operations, and regional expansion.

Compensation will be based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and suitability for the role. Any performance-linked incentives or other perks will be communicated during the recruitment process.
