Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee the company's accounting and financial operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities, financial reporting, GST and TDS compliance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, budgeting, and cash flow management to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting and Financial Management

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Oversee general ledger, journal entries, vouchers, and expense accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor company expenses, income, and financial transactions.
- Ensure timely closing of books of accounts.

2. Accounts Payable and Receivable

- Monitor customer invoices, vendor bills, and payment schedules.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and overdue receivables.
- Ensure timely payment to shipping lines, transporters, overseas agents, and other vendors.
- Monitor customer credit limits and outstanding balances.
- Reconcile customer and vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.

3. Taxation and Statutory Compliance

- Ensure timely filing and compliance with GST, TDS,



and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities.
- Verify tax invoices, input tax credit, and related documentation.
- Maintain records for statutory audits and tax assessments.

4. Banking and Cash Flow Management

- Monitor daily cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor bank transactions.
- Coordinate with banks regarding payments, transfers, and other banking activities.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and ensure sufficient funds for operational requirements.

5. Financial Reporting and Analysis

- Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and financial reports.
- Analyse revenue, expenses, profitability, and budget variances.
- Provide financial information and reports to management for decision-making.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements.

6. Team Management

- Supervise and guide the accounts team.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor employee performance.
