This is a progressive role for a Apparel Product Development Merchandiser to join our team to cater to our retail , online and B2B & Export business.

This role requires excellent knowledge of fabric sourcing, Trims sourcing, Printing & Washes, garment manufacturing & Coordinating with the production team. Candidate should have 3-5 yrs of experience.

Job responsibilities:

· Candidate should be capable of completing the given targets responsibly , Independently and achieve business efficiency.

· Possess strong Knowledge of Woven or knits Garments and complete knowledge of TNA, Planning, Cost Calculations and related Processes of Merchandising & manufacturing.

· Apparel product development and sample development is an important part of the role.

· prior experience with E-Commerce merchandising and ready to adapt to technological transformation of the company is preferred.

· Source fabrics as per company’s requirements. Sampling yardage sourcing skills in target price. Get specialised washes, Trims and printing

Travel for sourcing for fabrics and Trims.

. Lead the process of sample preparation and order confirmation.

. Knowledge to make and convert Tech-packs.

. Maintaining both Sampling and Production Timelines.

.



Keeping a check on the product quality and production control for timely order execution and delivery.

. Coordinate with Concerned departments for timely execution of shipments.

· Should possess Excellent communication skills and be capable of working in a quick pace working environment.

. Travelling to fulfil job responsibilities, is a part of this role.

Desired Skills:

- Knowledge about woven & knit fabric. Printing types , washes and Trims
- Must have good knowledge of Production, Product Development and Costing.
- Should possess good communication skills.

Qualification / Experience :

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field, such as Marketing/Textile/Garment technology.
- A Master’s degree in a related filed will be an added advantage.
