Social Media Manager – Job Description

About the Role

Talentmark Academy is seeking a skilled Social Media Manager with a strong command of LinkedIn and Canva to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about building brand presence through engaging and visually appealing social media content. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing short social media posts, with a primary focus on LinkedIn, while also managing content across other platforms as needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute a social media strategy focused on increasing brand awareness and engagement, particularly on LinkedIn125.
- Create, edit, and design visually compelling social media posts using Canva3.
- Manage and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting13.
- Write concise, engaging copy tailored for LinkedIn and other social channels4.
- Upload and schedule content, ensuring each post aligns with Talentmark Academy’s brand voice and objectives24.
- Monitor audience engagement and respond to comments or messages in a timely and professional manner15.
- Analyze social media performance using analytics tools and provide regular reports with actionable insights25.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in social media, especially LinkedIn,



to optimize content and strategy25.

Qualifications and Skills

- Proven experience managing LinkedIn and other social media platforms for a brand or organization.
- Advanced proficiency in video editing softwares for creating and editing social media graphics and posts.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience with social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to improve strategy.
- Creative mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred

- Experience in education, training, or vocational sectors is a plus.
- Familiarity with additional platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
