Title: UK Accounting-TL
Location: Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Jamnagar

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated UK Accounting Team Lead to join our dynamic finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the UK accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and compliance with UK accounting standards. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS, excellent analytical skills, and a proven ability to manage and mentor a team. You will play a crucial role in driving efficiency, improving processes, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a cooperative and high-performance work environment.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP (FRS 102) and IFRS.
- Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger,



and payroll functions specific to the UK.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant UK tax regulations, including VAT returns, corporation tax, and other statutory filings.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, variance analysis, and provide insightful reports to senior management to support decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting processes, implementing best practices and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Reconcile complex accounts, bank statements, and intercompany transactions, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations and provide accounting support as needed.
- Stay abreast of changes in UK accounting standards and tax legislation, ensuring the team's practices remain compliant.
