Job Description
Roomy Ventures LLP is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer specializing in production drawings for furniture and interior projects. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing accurate technical drawings and coordinating with the design and production teams to ensure smooth manufacturing and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed CAD drawings for furniture and interior production.
- Convert design concepts into accurate technical and manufacturing drawings.
- Prepare detailed layouts, elevations, sections, and measurements.
- Coordinate with the design, architecture, and production teams.
- Ensure drawings meet project specifications and manufacturing requirements.
- Revise drawings based on design changes and site measurements.
- Maintain drawing accuracy and meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience in CAD drafting or production drawing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or relevant CAD software.
- Knowledge of furniture and interior production drawings.
- Understanding of dimensions, materials, and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with design and production teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Drafting, or a related field.
- Experience in furniture manufacturing or interior fit-out projects.
