About the Role

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer / Software Test Engineer to build and maintain automated test cases for our .NET-based software applications.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys finding defects, thinking through edge cases, and—most importantly—automating repetitive software testing.

You will work closely with our software development team to ensure new features and releases are reliable, accurate, and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for .NET applications.
- Build automated regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
- Automate testing of web applications, APIs, and backend services.
- Review software requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios.
- Execute automated tests and analyze failures.
- Identify, document, track, and reproduce software defects.
- Develop reusable testing frameworks and test components.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform API testing and validation.
- Validate application data using SQL queries and database testing.
- Work closely with .NET developers to identify defects early in the development cycle.
- Improve test coverage and reduce dependence on repetitive manual testing.
- Maintain clear test documentation and defect reports.
- Participate in release testing and production-readiness validation.

Required Skills

- Robust experience with software test automation.
- Experience testing .NET / C# applications.
- Experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.




- Ability to write automated test scripts using C# or another programming language.
- Experience with API testing tools/frameworks such as Postman, REST APIs, or automated API testing libraries.
- Good understanding of:
- Functional testing
- Regression testing
- Integration testing
- End-to-end testing
- UI testing
- API testing
- Working knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Familiarity with Git or other source-control systems.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with one or more of the following would be an advantage:

- Microsoft Azure
- Azure DevOps
- CI/CD pipelines
- Playwright with C#
- Selenium WebDriver with C#
- NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest
- REST API automation
- SQL Server
- Performance/load testing
- SaaS applications
- Test management and defect-tracking tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
