Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible, proactive, and experienced Manager on Duty – Night Shift to oversee the overall administrative and operational activities of the hospital during night hours. The role involves coordinating with medical, nursing, security, housekeeping, and other support departments to ensure smooth hospital operations and quality patient service throughout the night.

The ideal candidate should possess robust leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle emergencies, patient and attendant concerns, and operational challenges efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the overall functioning of the hospital during the night shift.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, emergency services, security, housekeeping, and other hospital departments.
- Ensure smooth patient admission, discharge, transfer, and related administrative processes.
- Address patient and attendant complaints, concerns, and service-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with the concerned clinical team during medical emergencies and ensure timely escalation to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Monitor staff attendance, deployment, discipline, and performance during the night shift.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and infection control protocols.
- Conduct regular rounds of hospital premises to monitor cleanliness, security, patient service, and operational readiness.
- Coordinate with the emergency department, inpatient wards, ICU, laboratory, radiology,



pharmacy, and other departments as required.
- Ensure proper documentation of incidents, complaints, operational issues, and shift activities.
- Maintain effective communication and provide a comprehensive handover to the day-shift management team.
- Escalate critical operational issues, security concerns, and serious patient or attendant grievances to the appropriate authorities.
- Ensure the availability of essential support services and prompt resolution of operational disruptions.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and ensure professional conduct among staff.

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor's degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in hospital administration, hospital operations, or healthcare supervision is preferred.
- Experience handling hospital operations during night shifts will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and staff coordination skills.
- Ability to handle complaints, emergencies, and challenging situations calmly.
- Good administrative, documentation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with hospital information systems preferred.
- Ability to work independently and make appropriate operational decisions within the assigned authority.
- Willingness to work exclusively on the night shift.

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
