freelancer/on-demand backfill JD: Desktop Support Engineer L2 – Freelancer / On-Demand Backfill Experience: 3–5 Years Engagement: Freelancer / On-Demand / Backfill Work Type: Onsite Support – As & When Required Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka Job Summary We are looking for experienced Desktop Support Engineer L2 freelancers who can provide onsite IT support on an on-demand and backfill basis. Engineers may be required to attend sites for planned activities, engineer absence coverage, urgent support, or short-term assignments. Key Responsibilities - Provide L2 onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, and peripherals. - Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, hardware, software, and application issues. - Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and connectivity issues. - Handle IMAC, installation, replacement, and configuration activities. - Support docking stations, monitors, USB devices, and other peripherals. - Resolve incidents and service requests within agreed timelines. - Maintain proper ticket updates and site activity reports. - Coordinate with L3/remote teams for complex issues.



- Support backfill requirements during engineer absence or workload requirements. Required Skills - 3–5 years of Desktop Support / IT Support experience. - Strong Windows 10/11 troubleshooting skills. - Positive knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware and peripherals. - Basic networking knowledge including LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP and VPN. - Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and common business applications. - Good communication and customer-handling skills. - Ability to work independently at client locations. - Own basic IT support tools preferred. Engagement Requirements - Freelancer / Vendor Engineers only. - Availability for on-demand dispatch and backfill activities. - Engineers should be able to respond to short-notice requirements where possible. - Payment/engagement terms will be agreed based on each assignment. IT certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.

Pay: ₹1,500.00 per day
